POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Sales Operations Associate to help execute efficient sales processes that are critical to run the Sales Department. Located on-site at Quanser’s headquarters, this associate will report to the Sales Operations Manager and collaborate closely with the broader sales team to ensure data accuracy, enable efficient workflows, and provide actionable insights to help drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. They bring a process-driven mindset and strong analytical skills to support and enhance the sales function by being a part of the sales demand generation machine. Their strong communication skills and customer-first approach enable them to support inbound inquiries, coordinate post-sales requests, and gather meaningful customer feedback. They are comfortable working in a technically complex sales environment and are adept at using CRM systems, MS Office, and data visualization tools to maintain operational efficiency and support a sales organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support Sales team with operational processes (quoting, vendor registration, procurement processes, order processing etc.)
- Respond to inbound inquiries, qualifying leads and routing them appropriately.
- Execute CRM processes, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to sales team.
- Execute methods to measure and analyze sales performance metrics, trends, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage inventory of sales loaner and demo equipment including coordinating shipment, return logistics, quality checks, and maintaining inventory records.
- Help improve internal sales workflows, playbooks, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers on outbound initiatives to generate demand
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Efficiencies team to develop and manage sales reporting dashboards to support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking.
- Work closely with our Technical Support team and Application Engineers to coordinate both pre-sales and post-sales requests
- Gather Customer feedback on a regular basis to measure customer experience
- Generate new software licenses and upgrades for clients, assisting with software orders, etc.
- Work closely with Marketing to complete follow up activities for events (i.e. webinars, workshops, tradeshows etc.)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
A post-secondary education from a recognized institution in Business Administration, Communications or equivalent; must be comfortable working in a highly technical sales environment
- 1+ year of customer-facing experience fielding inquiries and lead management
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Prior experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a process-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- High attention to detail to manage many different regions with unique dynamics and needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and context switch
- A genuine desire to help and support others within and outside of the organization
- Agility to adapt quickly and adopt new processes while maintaining a pleasant disposition
- Takes initiative to identify and address gaps in internal processes
- Resilient to the ambiguous nature of developing new sales processes and change management
